Standard Septic Servicing

Our standard septic tank service includes : 

• pumping out the septic tank compartments

• cleaning of the outlet baffle filter (if your system has one installed)

• a visual inspection recorded on the bill
Visual inspection notes:
  » whether the inlet  /outlet baffles are intact or need repair or replaced (baffles help keep the contents from clogging the pipes)

  » the Septic Tank’s operating level is normal or high (meaning liquid may not be flowing through tank properly)

  » whether the sludge content in the Septic Tank is of a normal or heavy condition (heavy thick sludge can slow the flow of the liquids)

  » whether the physical septic tank condition looks OK or POOR (examples -cracks and roots in the tank)

  » whether the field bed effluent is running back into the tank (if liquid is running back into tank from outlet pipe, weeping bed may not be leeching properly)

Basic Inspection of the Septic Tank for Prospective Home Buyers

Our basic inspection includes all of the services provided in our standard septic tank service (as noted above).
The Septic Tank Report /Visual Inspection check list is included on the bill and will be provided on the day of the service, helping you make an informed decision when looking at purchasing a home.
