AWESOME News from Downtown!!: 6 properties sold. Lougheed's has been sold, and will continue as a Jewellery Store! Beantown has a new owner. 2 new businesses opened. 2 business relocates. 2 new businesses to open in May (that's the plan!) All in the last month! WOOT! Plus more good news coming this week! The unseasonably nice weather has us all thinking about spring, and what’s more spring-y than the Woodstock Farmers’ Market? The Downtown Woodstock BIA is getting ready to open its 2017 Farmers’ Market, and we are looking for new vendors! Opening day is Thursday, May 18th 2017. We are on the hunt for fresh, local growers and producers who want to showcase and sell their products. Here are some things we’re looking to sell: - Local fruits and vegetables - Baked goods - Niagara soft fruits - Fresh soups and salads - Homemade ready-to-go meals If you or someone you know fits the bill, contact Kelly at info@downtownwoodstock.ca to fill out a 2017 Farmer’s Market Vendor Application.
