About Us

Construction is complete and residents are moving in daily. We invite you to come and see for yourself what The Village of Oxford Gardens can offer you in an independent, secure retirement lifestyle.

The Village of Oxford Gardens, completed it transformation in the Fall of 2008. The partnership between Bill and Tony Van Haeren, Cliff Zaluski of Sierra Construction and David Lowes of Woodstock’s Kinsdale Carriers; together overseeing a total conversion of the community's most well-known and respected Long Term Care facilities, Woodingford Lodge, at 423 Devonshire Avenue.

By the fall of 2008, the old Woodingford Lodge, a 9,940 square-metre former long-term care facility located on 2.8 hectares of land, has under-gone a major renovation. This included the conversion of the 200-room residence into a 101 premier suites, including large studios, one-bedroom, and two bedroom suites. The construction included installation of new windows, electrical, HVAC, interior finishes and a complete rejuvenation of the exterior facade. Many Woodstock residents have already expressed an interest in seeing the changes and upgrades in this beautiful building, and in making it their new home, taking advantage of our invitation to “Come Home To Woodstock”.
