Upper Thames Brewing is pleased to announce the upcoming release of our very limited edition Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale. It's been reviewed very highly and will be available for limited release (100 bottles and a small amount on tap) this Saturday, May 6th at 11am. Only while supplies last! $8 per bottle and $8.50 per draft. While supplies last! Style: Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale ABV: 7.7% Estimated IBU: 12.5 Sweet and malty, with low bitterness, notes of caramel and a mild fruitiness in the background. Our new bourbon barrel aged version has an even richer complexity than the unaged version, with notes of vanilla, caramel sweetness and mild bourbon. Exceptionally smooth and drinkable despite the high alcohol and rich flavours.
